I’m spinning and I’m trying to slow it all down. It feels impossible. I’m trying to think well-nigh where to start, where to pick up from… the days are just blurring at the moment and I’m flabbergasted that it’s June tomorrow. How? Let me paint a little picture for you. I am sitting on my couch, with a cup of tea. George is napping, so this tea will unquestionably be enjoyed hot. Around me are hundreds of boxes, that I’m secretly hoping will unpack themselves. Why boxes? Well, I’m sitting in our beautiful, new apartment. It’s very exciting. We had outgrown our previous apartment, which was unquestionably very sad, from a sentimental point of view. The suite we moved out of was the first suite Sox and I moved into together in 2015. It’s the suite we were living in, when we got engaged, we got a married, we had George and brought him home to his little nursery we decorated… we’ve had so many big life moments in that little apartment. However, as Georgie is getting bigger, we started to outgrow it. The suite we own, we were renting out, but then decided to move my Mother in Law closer, so we moved her into that. We weren’t in a hurry to move, as our lease was only up next Feb, but we were unchangingly casually looking. Considering we weren’t in a hurry, it all happened pretty quickly one April afternoon. We saw the apartment, which really felt homely to me (plus I fell in love with the cupboard space) and that afternoon we were signing the lease and could move in 01 June. Just 2 weeks surpassing we were set to move, we were wrenched into – not into our very apartment, thank God, but onto the property. We were on our way out for our morning walk, when Sox noticed that our electric gate was slightly unshut and off the rails. While he was rented fixing the gate, I went to unshut the marching to get the pram out and discovered it was gone. On remoter inspection, our unshortened car had been rummaged through, the cubby slum was unshut and papers and other items strewn all over. I felt sick… It’s such a violation, but the worst part for me is the pram. That pram was so sentimental to me as it has quite story tying to it. While material objects can be replaced; the sentimental value cannot. I cannot tell you how upset I am. It moreover freaked me out that we had obviously been watched. You cannot see the pram from the road, so you’d have to know it is there… and once inside the property, there are several other cars you’d be worldly-wise to unravel into, and not one other car was touched. Police taking our statement… Based on the DMs I got on Instagram, people thought we were moving considering of the burglary, but that wasn’t the specimen at all. It was just such unfortunate timing. Let’s not dwell on any negative though… Our new view… This is our family selfie taken without the move. Mom and Dad squint dirty and tired but happy. We haven’t had a endangerment to do much of our morning ritual considering like I said, whirlwind and unpacking boxes… but boy I miss it! I veritably LOVE our walks and I’m not sure who enjoys it more…Georgie or us. Here’s the last pic I have of G in his pram (OK, I’m still heartsore well-nigh it)  I found this photo from a month or 2 ago and couldn’t not share it… Our little fish is the happiest in the water. He’s been going to swimming lessons once a week since he was 5 months old. What else is in my camera roll…. Ah yes. MESS. FUN TIMES! He wants to feed himself and not with a spoon. Obviously. Once a week G goes to “Mommy and Me” and it’s so cute to see him interact with the other babies and play with the various activities. We took George to see the Police horses and it was really interesting to wits this. When I was on bed rest a year ago, my friend Kim picked me up just to stretch my legs a little (it was very little walking since it was too painful) and get out of the motel fever I was experiencing. We went to visit the Police horses and this majestic woebegone horse tabbed Aldo, found my pregnant tummy really interesting. He kept sniffing my tumor and scrutinizingly nuzzling it. I haven’t been when since (sadly) and we decided to take George to visit. Aldo was on the other side of the field and as soon as we came to the fence, he came galloping over and went straight to George, who was quite scared. Shame, it was the first time he was overly seeing a horse in real life – I can’t imagine what he must have thought seeing this huge unprepossessing galloping towards him. It was very sweet to wits though.  My boys… my heart can explode. With tomorrow stuff June, it’s Georgie’s birthday month. My victual boy is turning ONE! Here’s to the next half of 2018 – can’t wait to see what it has in store for all of us!
